About Us
We are a leading logistics company with over a century of tradition, offering a dynamic and challenging work environment. Our office is located in Warsaw, where we are seeking a highly skilled Business Financial Leader to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support business strategy and growth.
• Develop and implement efficient financial processes and systems to drive business success.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with Group standards and local regulations.
• Provide expert guidance on financial processes and suggest improvements for continuous enhancement.
• Control and reconcile all accounting transactions, including journal entries, accruals, and General Ledger balances.
• Execute financial administration tasks, including proper filing, which includes all accounting responsibilities: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Provisions, VAT/Taxes, Periodical Closing.
• Manage incoming invoices and collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies in Purchase Orders or Approval Processes. Offer suggestions for improving the P2P process.
• Independently investigate and resolve any financial irregularities or deviations, taking corrective action as needed and seeking guidance from higher management when required.
• Prepare necessary documentation as per ICS procedures.
• Maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures for assigned companies and assist in onboarding new employees.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Share expertise with colleagues to ensure successful project outcomes and meet deadlines.
• Mentor junior Accountants and guide them through the onboarding process.
• Collaborate closely with external auditors to provide necessary information and support their work.
• Perform other duties as required to support the company's interests and objectives.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field (required).
• Extensive experience in international finance and accounting (similar position).
• Strong understanding of IFRS accounting and reporting principles (essential).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel).
