As a key member of our data engineering group, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and solutions on-prem, migration, or cloud projects for large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Data Pipeline Design and Development: Use Scala or Python, Spark, Hadoop, SQL for batch and streaming data processing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design efficient solutions that meet business needs.
- Optimization and Troubleshooting: Optimize Spark jobs and data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Data Quality and Security: Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Data Engineer/Big Data Engineer and excellent SQL skills, including advanced concepts. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala is also required. Experience with Spark and Hadoop, OOP, and agile frameworks like Scrum is highly desirable.
