About the Role

Molex, a global leader in electronic interconnect solutions, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Optimization Specialist to join our team in Sulęcin site. As a key member of our NPI Process and Projects Engineering Team, you will play a critical role in optimizing production costs, improving efficiency, and ensuring the successful launch of new products.

Responsibilities:
  • Optimize production costs using Lean Manufacturing tools and solutions, including waste reduction and process standardization.
  • Search for opportunities to improve production processes through the implementation of new machines, equipment, and resources.
  • Analyze and track the efficiency of the production line, measuring work performance, OEE, productivity, financial efficiency, and other economic indicators.
  • Standardize workstations and workflows to improve productivity and reduce errors.
  • Promote environmentally friendly attitudes and behaviors that impact the company's energy indicator.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful launch of new products and their implementation into production.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for the production process, including designing production processes and implementing changes according to procedures such as PCN and Deviation.
  • Take corrective and preventive actions to eliminate non-conformities in products and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably with experience in manufacturing optimization or a similar position.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices, including waste reduction and process standardization.
  • Ability to analyze data and measure performance metrics, including OEE and productivity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with manufacturing software.
