About This Role

We are seeking an exceptional Android team leader to join our top-notch Mobile development group. The right candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a large-scale revolutionary platform used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on an enterprise-grade core product that uses the latest technologies and is pre-installed on millions of devices globally.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent technical knowledge, and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading a team of developers and QA engineers
  • Collaborating with the Product Manager on product development and features
  • Designing solutions, evaluating architecture options, setting technical direction, guiding implementation, and ensuring quality standards
  • Managing and tracking team progress and improvements using sprint-based metrics
  • Developing and mentoring team members
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of managing experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in native Android applications development
  • Strong understanding of MV* design patterns, multi-modular architecture, and SOLID principles
  • Deep knowledge of Android internals and how it works under the hood
  • Experience in Kotlin
  • Familiarity with multi-flavor projects
  • Experience in project design, coding, and release
  • Experience leading a scrum team
  • Strong Git best practices knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with estimation techniques
  • Commitment to timelines and quality
  • At least B2 level of English proficiency
