Computer Hardware and Software Expert

Do you want to unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries? As an IT Operations Analyst at TN Poland, you will be responsible for supporting hardware installation and configuration, as well as ongoing maintenance of the computer/data center.

Key Responsibilities

You will monitor batch schedules and take actions as necessary in response to schedule problems or abnormal program terminations. You will also manage tape backups, including physical tape handling; coordinate, diagnose and troubleshoot employee issues with personal computers and related systems.

Additionally, you will provide support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access. You will develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support.

Functional Areas
  • Infrastructure Services
    • Hardware Installation & Integration: Install and integrate computer hardware and software, ensuring seamless network integration.
    • System Maintenance & Support: Maintain and support PCs, notebooks, tablets, smartphones, printers, and other peripherals running smoothly across our locations.
    • Network Management: Support and maintain manufacturing networks, including machine PCs and systems like Hydra.
User Support Services
  • Responsive Assistance: Manage day-to-day user requests, provide training, and implement new solutions.
  • Comprehensive Support: Offer local support for plant/site users and remote support for EMEA sites as needed.
Process Governance
  • Policy Adherence: Apply IT policies related to security, change management, operations, and disaster recovery.
Professional Background
  • Education: University degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft-based systems (Office Suite) and Active Directory.
  • Language: Excellent English skills are essential.
  • Customer Focus: Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer advocacy.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well with global teams and external partners.
