About Our Job

This role operates an asphalt distributor truck used in application of specialized emulsions to roadways and assists paving crews with other tasks related to commercial paving projects. The successful candidate will have experience working in paving operations or similar environment and ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Embrace the Company's safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams.
  2. Support, promote, and practice the Company core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies.
  3. Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT regulations and company guidelines.
  4. Drive and operate distributor truck equipped with tank to spray asphalt emulsions on road surfaces.

The ideal candidate will also possess a Class A CDL with doubles/triples, hazmat and tanker endorsement, and clean driving history. Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, dust, fuel, oil, and other chemicals typical to construction sites.
