About the Role

Imperial Brands is seeking a skilled Transfer Pricing Specialist to play a pivotal role in our financial operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end processes for both Direct and Indirect Tax, as well as Statutory Accounting and Reporting.

This exciting opportunity will challenge you to generate timely and accurate financial data, empowering local Finance teams and the Tax Centre of Excellence to deliver enhanced value to key stakeholders. You will be at the forefront of tax compliance filings, ensuring that all requirements are met in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and review data to provide timely information to the Tax Managed Service Provider for tax compliance filings.
  • Perform key processes and controls to ensure accurate data for tax calculations and error elimination.
  • Maintain timely submission of all tax filing requirements with consistent disclosures.
  • Prepare statutory filings in line with Local GAAP, including notes and disclosures.
  • Support external audits, liaise with auditors, complete reconciliations between local GAAP and IFRS.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Transfer Pricing, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Statutory Reporting, Direct Taxes, Indirect Taxes.
  • Professional proficiency of English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to multitask and meet fixed deadlines.
  • Experience in working with SAP and Excel.
  • Critical thinking and creativity to promote business development and process improvements.
