Job Title: Global Backoffice Workflow Specialist

Talan, an international advisory group on innovation and transformation through technology, is seeking a Global Backoffice Workflow Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team follows the Scrum methodology and coordinates agile activities with waterfall methodology when necessary.
  • Act as a supportive leader, providing guidance to reach high-performance teams.
  • Knowledge of delivery services and technical components required for various projects, with a focus on our development and integration with other teams and systems.
  • Document solutions in JIRA, Confluence, ALM, and other relevant tools.
  • Certificate and ensure the quality of our delivery team.
  • Manage the squad and coordinate with other squads to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate the Technical Teams' efforts to ensure the overall technical strategy is applied across the product, in alignment with our client's business.
  • Maintain a close relationship with stream leaders, product owners, and stakeholders.
  • Clearly understand client business needs and measure delivered value.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Knowledge of Scrum methodology and Waterfall.
  • Experience managing diverse and multi-entity IT teams.
  • Elementary knowledge of financial products in the wholesale banking environment.
  • High degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
  • High level of English.
  • Knowledge of Spanish (desirable).
  • Excellent attitude and ability to adapt to different environments and work teams in a management role.
  • Motivation, responsibility, and outstanding involvement in critical and committed situations.
  • Notable interest in assuming new challenges with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Used to working in teams with dynamic environments and a high component of uncertainty.
  • Interest in learning new technologies and contributing to Digital Transformation.
