We are seeking a talented Renewable Energy Project Manager to join our team. Our client has a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects across Europe, and we are looking for someone who can help us to deliver these projects successfully.

As a key member of the Grid Engineering team, you will be responsible for creating grid connection solutions for solar, wind, and battery storage projects from conceptual design to execution. This will involve working closely with our project management team to ensure that all aspects of the project are delivered on time and within budget.

Your responsibilities will include undertaking engineering assessments to define technical specifications, design, and drawings, as well as engaging with DNO/TNOs to secure and develop grid connections. You will also need to oversee external engineering services and technical contracts.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of British engineering norms, standards, legislation, and regulation related to electrical systems and grid operation. You will also need to have a solution-orientated approach and the ability to make high-quality decisions.

Your Responsibilities
  • The Grid Engineering team is responsible for creating grid connection solutions for solar, wind, and battery storage projects from conceptual design to execution.
  • You will contribute to the development and realization of renewables projects at all stages focusing on grid connection and substation topics.
  • You will undertake engineering assessments to define technical specifications, design, and drawings, as well as CAPEX requirements.
  • You will have a profound understanding of British engineering norms, standards, legislation, and regulation related to electrical systems and grid operation.
  • You will engage with DNO/TNOs to secure and develop grid connections.
  • You will define and oversee external engineering services, as well as the scope of technical contracts.
  • You will provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvement in all areas.
  • You will work flexible working arrangements, including working from home and at our office locations in Europe.
