About the Role

Amazon Fulfillment Poland sp. z o.o. is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Procurement Function, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Fulfillment Centers by securing the constant flow of packaging goods and services at the best overall value to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute the daily forecast and effective materials management of all non-inventory packaging supplies
  • Execute purchase order creation based on the planned forecast and internal requests
  • Liaise with suppliers to secure prompt deliveries for the full range of shipping supplies items
  • Develop relationships with primary internal customers, external suppliers, and other Amazon Teams
  • Work in full compliance with the company Spending and Transaction Policy
  • Plan truck deliveries and place replenishment orders
  • Communicate accurate delivery schedules to local FC Stores teams
  • Ensure deliveries are offloaded as per agreed timelines with suppliers
  • Work with Operations and Stores Coordinators to define strategies to mitigate space constraints
  • Support change initiatives and continuous improvement projects aimed at improving the efficiency of shipping supplies processes
  • Proactively flag delivery issues with the Regional SPOC Manager and the EU Procurement Team
  • Provide support to other SPOC Buyers as and when required
  • Interact with FC Stores Coordinators on a daily basis to get a sense of activities on the shop floor
  • Provide training to new SPOC Buyers
  • Deliver Procurement metrics in line with set targets
Requirements
  • Previous purchasing experience in Procurement
  • Basic knowledge of ERP and/or MRP systems
  • Computer literate with knowledge of software programs (i.e. MS Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Advanced Level of English (B2/C1)
  • Advanced Level of Polish (B2/C1)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven ability to build constructive and effective supplier relationships
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Analytical, data-driven approach with attention to detail
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or related field
  • Strong experience in Procurement domains: Materials Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, and/or Shipping Supplies
  • Experience in supplier/vendor relationship management
  • Experience as a Non-Inventory Receiver or Stores Coordinator
Travel Requirements

Occasional travel may be required to visit individual FCs within the cluster/other regions (10% of the total time)
