Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support and consult business users worldwide in SAP-based foreign trade processes.
  • Ensure smooth operation of SAP GTS in R3 and GTS.
  • Participate in regional and international projects in SAP Global Trade Services and cooperate with internal and external partners worldwide.
  • Analyze, harmonize, and optimize processes and solutions in export control and customs handling.
  • Implement requirements in origin of goods, customs, and preference processing, as well as export control and sanctions list screening.
  • Create customizing and programming specifications.
  • Support the transition from SAP GTS to the new SAP GTS Edition for HANA solution.

Your Qualifications

  • Completed studies in business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in IT operations and projects, ideally in preference and customs processing, export control, and sanctions list verification.
  • Experience with SAP GTS or a comparable IT system.
  • Experience with SAP modules Sales, Purchasing, or Logistics is an advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of English, German is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and debug ABAP code.
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work with quality awareness and analytical and conceptual thinking.
  • Confident and convincing appearance, communication skills, and ability to work in an agile team.
