Ingenico Group is a leading provider of payment solutions, and we're seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions and systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and process invoices, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable and payable, including reconciliation of accounting entries
  • Perform daily cash management duties, including recording bank deposits, updating cash receipt logs, and posting cash to accounts receivable
  • Supervise and collect accounts receivable and payable, communicating with clients and vendors as needed
  • Manage inventory and perform cost accounting tasks
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly closing activities, ensuring timely completion
  • Oversee asset management and ensure accurate intercompany reconciliation
  • Support payroll registration and reconciliation, as well as the drafting of statutory financial statements
  • Collaborate with the CFO on auditor and tax consultant relations, responding to audit requests as needed

  • Optimize financial transactions and systems by reconciling payments and customer accounts
  • Streamline and improve accounts receivable and payable processes, identifying areas for performance improvement
  • Strengthen relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients through timely payment and communication
  • Communicate discrepancies to management, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Experience in multinational contexts, with proficiency in English and Polish
  • Sophisticated skills in accounting and finance, including IFRS and Polish GAAP
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP and Excel, with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to manage stress in a rapidly changing environment
