About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team at LyondellBasell. As a key member of our MC&A team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and advice to our centrally based team in Wesseling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the local MC&A team in Wesseling as a competent partner, providing financial dialogue and support to the Site Manager, Site Management, and functional, operational, and business unit leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports on variable and fixed costs, ensuring timely and focused decision-oriented reporting.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual budget process, including costs, capacity, investments, and other relevant factors.
  • Support the preparation of monthly forecasts for fixed and variable costs.
  • Contribute to internal and cross-departmental process improvements.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Accounting and/or Controlling.
  • Proactivity and flexibility with a strong drive and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills, with the ability to transform data into actionable information.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Economics.
  • Proficiency in English and German will be an asset.
