As a Senior IT Business Analyst for Performance Optimization, you will be responsible for ensuring global distribution centers operate efficiently. Your hands-on approach will guarantee seamless operations by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing configurations to enhance speed and reliability.

A Day in the Life of an Expert
  1. Monitoring and Enhancement: Continuously monitor network performance, server health, and storage capacity. Proactively identify areas for improvement and optimize configurations to boost efficiency and reliability.
  2. Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to implement access controls, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols. Regular vulnerability assessments and patch management are part of this responsibility.
  3. Capacity Planning and Scalability: Anticipate future demands, assess current capacity, and plan for growth. Forecast resource requirements, such as additional servers, storage, or network bandwidth, to ensure smooth operations.
  4. Documentation and Standardization: Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and standard operating practices (SOPs). Ensure consistency, facilitate troubleshooting, and aid in disaster recovery.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other IT teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and database administrators, to ensure seamless coordination for infrastructure changes and upgrades.
Must-Have Skills and Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, Computer Science, or equivalent educational/work experience preferred.
  2. 5+ years of IT software and hardware knowledge.
  3. Self-motivated with the ability to work individually or in a team.
  4. Meticulous with a focus on data accuracy.
  5. Excellent written and verbal skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills and Certifications
  1. Broad knowledge of IT Asset Management and IT concepts, disciplines, best practices, and methodologies.
  2. Experience with Vendor Management and Contract Management.
  3. ITIL Certified (in accordance with Global and Local Contractual requirements).
