Job Opportunity

HSBC Service Delivery is seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team in Investment Banking Tech. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of software delivery to users, ensuring the successful completion of projects, and implementing assigned modules/tasks.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art trading and risk application platform built on HTML5 and React. You will be working closely with architecture teams to deliver solutions that address business needs and timelines, having a futuristic thought process and embedded design thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of software delivery to users with cooperation with teams' members.
  • Ensure the successful completion of projects from start to finish.
  • Implement assigned modules/tasks and provide technical solutions/designs to the team.
  • Liaise with product owners and SMEs for clarity on stories, acceptance criteria, and testing scope.
  • Work closely with architecture teams to deliver solutions that address business needs and timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant stream.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Java/Scala, React.
  • Well-versed in API integration, Micro Services architecture, and development.
  • Databases (relational, non-relational) ideally NO SQL Mongo.
  • Tooling - Hands-on experience on Grafana, Jenkins, Git, Stash, Sonar, Checkmarx, Kenna, Clouseau, RocketLauncher, NexusIQ etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you have to work in global environments.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies and business domain.
