Job Summary:
This role involves working as a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care/High Dependency Units, providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute medical needs. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to deliver excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care at Level 3 (ITU/ICU Nurses) and Level 2 (HDU Nurses).
- Work flexibly across different areas to meet client demands and evolving patient needs.
- Current NMC registration and relevant post-registration qualifications.
- Evidence of degree-level study or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- A minimum of six months' UK NHS experience.
- Confidence in clinical skills.
- Excellent medical knowledge.
- Proficiency in using specialized equipment relevant to the Intensive Care department.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) training.
- Computer literacy with knowledge of patient administration systems (e.g., RIO, SystmOne, EObs, or similar).
- Venepuncture and cannulation skills.
- Clinical competence at a minimum Band 5 level.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent teamwork capabilities.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Awareness of current professional nursing issues.
- Advocacy for patient-centered care.
- Psychological resilience to maintain emotional distance when necessary.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
£21 - Days
£26 - Nights/Saturdays
£33 - Sundays
