Job Summary:

This role involves working as a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care/High Dependency Units, providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute medical needs. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to deliver excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide high-quality patient care at Level 3 (ITU/ICU Nurses) and Level 2 (HDU Nurses).
  2. Work flexibly across different areas to meet client demands and evolving patient needs.
Person Specification:Essential:
  1. Current NMC registration and relevant post-registration qualifications.
  2. Evidence of degree-level study or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  3. A minimum of six months' UK NHS experience.
  4. Confidence in clinical skills.
  5. Excellent medical knowledge.
  6. Proficiency in using specialized equipment relevant to the Intensive Care department.
  7. Advanced Life Support (ALS) training.
Desirable:
  1. Computer literacy with knowledge of patient administration systems (e.g., RIO, SystmOne, EObs, or similar).
  2. Venepuncture and cannulation skills.
Skills and Knowledge:
  1. Clinical competence at a minimum Band 5 level.
  2. Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Excellent teamwork capabilities.
  4. Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  5. Awareness of current professional nursing issues.
  6. Advocacy for patient-centered care.
  7. Psychological resilience to maintain emotional distance when necessary.
  8. Exceptional customer service skills.
Salary and Benefits:

£21 - Days
£26 - Nights/Saturdays
£33 - Sundays
