**Job Title:** Financial Controller
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accuracy of our General Ledger, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the General Ledger for assigned Arrow companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit financial reports to the US head office and European management.
- Perform facilities and restructuring accounting and control tasks.
- Carry out Sarbanes Oxley controls and hedging and revaluation activities.
- Support headcount reporting, control, and forecasting.
- Prepare statutory accounting and corporation tax work, statutory/corporate reconciliations, and European consolidation.
- Manage VAT, Intrastat, and Sales List Reporting, submission of VAT Returns, and related compliance.
- Support audit work and manage the fixed asset register.
- Prepare variance analysis for all financial activities.
- Support other accountants within the team on various tasks.
- Develop new and efficient processes and procedures within the accounting team.
- Provide support and assistance to the Accounting Manager on projects and ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in all-round accounting.
- Good knowledge of general accounting and reporting processes.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Experience with accruals, prepayments, VAT, balance sheet reconciliations, and statutory accounts.
- Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.
- Results-driven and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Previous experience working with Danish companies is preferred.
