Risk & Compliance Specialist - SAP S/4 HANA

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Risk & Compliance Specialist to join their team in a GBS environment. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, following the SAP S/4 HANA access control framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approving and advising on access requests, ensuring that segregation of duties (SoD) within the SAP S/4 HANA environment remains intact, minimizing risks of conflicts or violations.
  • Engaging with stakeholders, gathering access requirements and contributing to the design of appropriate access roles, fostering alignment between business needs and access management protocols.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to streamline access management processes.
  • Collaborating with Internal Audit, Global Business Services (GBS), and D&T teams, enhancing operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Providing essential support and guidance to end users, assisting with access provisioning, role assignments, and authorization-related inquiries, ensuring smooth operations and user satisfaction.
  • Following SAP security best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies, continually evaluating and enhancing access control mechanisms to adapt to evolving security landscapes.
  • Actively participating in cross-functional projects, integrating access management processes with other SAP modules or enterprise systems, fostering interoperability and enhancing overall system efficiency.
  • Contributing to the development of access control policies and procedures for SAP systems.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in compliance activities.
  • Knowledge of regulations and industry standards related to data privacy, information security, and IT governance.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems: SAP Access Controls, GRC, and SAP security concepts - nice to have.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-driven, and also deliver through others when necessary.
