About the Role

We're seeking a talented Cloud Transformation Data Engineer to join us on this mission. As a key member of our team, you'll design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, FiveTran, and DBT.

You'll ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery for analytics and reporting. Your expertise in SQL and working with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks will be invaluable in achieving our goals.

We're looking for someone with experience in DBT for transforming raw data into structured, analytics-ready datasets. You should also have expertise in ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory and FiveTran.

A strong understanding of data governance best practices and tools like Unity or DataHub for metadata management and data lineage tracking is essential.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, FiveTran, and DBT.
  • Ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery for analytics and reporting.
  • Develop and optimize data models using DBT to enable business intelligence and analytics.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs, translate them into technical solutions, and provide actionable insights.
  • Work with MS Azure tech stack.
  • Utilize Delta Parquet for efficient data storage and querying.
  • Automate data transformation and delivery processes using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with governance tools like Unity, DataHub.
  • Monitor and enhance data quality across pipelines and storage systems.
  • Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data needs.
  • Enable self-service analytics by ensuring well-structured and accessible data for BI tools like Power BI.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in DBT for transforming raw data into structured, analytics-ready datasets.
  • Expertise in SQL and working with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory and FiveTran to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
  • Experience with data testing frameworks.
  • Experience with data modeling patterns (Kimball, Data Vault).
  • Experience with GitHub/Azure DevOps for version control and pipeline automation.
  • Understanding of data governance best practices and tools like Unity or DataHub for metadata management and data lineage tracking.
  • Ability to integrate data pipelines with visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs for integrating external data sources into data platforms.
  • Professional English proficiency both written and spoken (min. B2+/C1).
