Egnyte Poland is seeking a highly skilled Principal C++ Software Developer to join our Windows Desktop team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design and optimize demanding systems, contribute to the development of a global product with a diverse and impressive client base, and collaborate closely with software developers, QA engineers, Product Owners, and UI/UX designers around the globe.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining Egnyte's Windows application and related components to expose the Egnyte ecosystem for desktop users. Key responsibilities include working with Product Management and other teams to understand and influence features and create requirements, designing and creating dev test routines for the application and its features, collaborating with QA to improve testing, reproduce customer issues, and deliver overall better quality product releases, supporting tech leads in driving product development, mentoring team members, achieving technical and business goals, and documenting best practices and architectural choices.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of software engineering experience in modern C++ programming, 4+ years of software engineering experience in Windows development with proven experience in WinAPI, .NET API, WPF, and PowerShell, proven professional experience in C# and Python programming, understanding of Windows concepts like processes, multithreading, registry, and system privileges, knowledge of tools like ProcMon, WinDBG, Visual Studio Profiler, PerfView, Wireshark, and Postman, hands-on experience in the development and maintenance of multithreaded and multiprocess applications for Windows, hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and TDD, and good communication skills in English.
Estimated Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is approximately €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
