Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for managing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and providing excellent support to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: You will be responsible for creating, configuring, and managing Azure resources, including Kubernetes clusters, storage accounts, networking components, secrets, and certificates.
  • Security Measures: You will design and implement security measures to protect our data and systems from potential threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Issue Resolution: You will investigate and resolve issues related to the cloud infrastructure, collaborating with other teams to ensure timely resolution and minimize downtime.
  • Outage Coordination: In the event of an outage, you will coordinate with other product teams to identify the root cause, implement necessary changes, and restore services as quickly as possible.
  • System Monitoring: You will continuously monitor system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimizations to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work closely with other team members to ensure seamless operation of cloud services, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive continuous improvement.
  • Professional Development: You will stay current with the latest Azure features, best practices, and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our cloud infrastructure and services.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Cloud Administration: You must have proven experience as a Cloud Administrator or similar role, demonstrating your ability to manage and maintain complex cloud environments.
  • Cloud Knowledge: You must have strong knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure from well-known hyperscalers, preferably Azure.
  • Tool Proficiency: You must have experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar, showcasing your ability to leverage these tools to optimize cloud operations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You must possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, enabling you to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Azure Certification: While not mandatory, Azure certification is highly valued and can be beneficial in demonstrating your expertise.
