We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Forex team at Quod Financial. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent testing skills, with experience in creating test cases and executing tests.

Job Description:

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled QA Engineer to work on our company's own product - a trading platform. You will be responsible for analyzing new functionality, creating test cases, and executing tests.

In year 2, you will start creating auto-tests using Python and work on the test framework with our QA team. Additionally, you will integrate APIs with other components, upgrade the testing environment, and run regression testing.

You will communicate with colleagues from Paris and London, including developers, project managers, and product owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze new functionality and create test cases
  • Execute tests and identify defects
  • Create auto-tests using Python (year 2)
  • Integrate APIs with other components
  • Upgrade testing environment using Jenkins jobs
  • Run regression testing and analyze results
  • Work on test framework with QA team (year 2)
  • Communicate with international team members
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 6 months of experience working with Python or another scripting language
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodology
  • At least 12 months of experience with Linux back-end (command line)
  • Experience in writing test documentation
  • At least 6 months of experience in testing
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Spoken English intermediate+

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with bug-tracking systems (Jira)

Hiring Process:

  1. Technical test (20 minutes) - Python + testing
  2. HR interview (30 minutes)
  3. Technical interview with QA Manager and Team Member (60 minutes)
  4. Interview with Team Leader and Scrum Master (60 minutes)
