Job Title: IT Project Manager - Strategic Business Lead

Job Summary:

The IT Project Manager - Strategic Business Lead will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating complex corporate IT projects and initiatives to ensure they meet business objectives within the prescribed time frame and budget. This role will ensure that project goals are achieved and aligned with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning and delivery of large-scale IT projects involving complex technical solutions and strategic business deliverables.
  • Lead project teams to accomplish project goals on high-complexity projects.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and influence business decisions.
  • Resolve issues and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Act as a problem solver to drive project decisions.
  • Collaborate with management to review project proposals, determine goals, timelines, funding, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and modify as needed.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project status and related issues.
  • Coordinate and respond to requests for changes from original specifications.
  • Monitor project results against specifications, including managing project budgets.
  • Improve project management practices to advance best practices.
  • Recommend methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • Follow established project management practices, scope management, requirements, issues, and risks.
  • Create and manage project schedules to communicate and manage work.
  • Ensure accurate project management deliverables.
  • Prepare projects for governance gate approvals.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business functions to ensure corporate alignment with systems and processes.
  • Plan team resource needs, allocate, supervise, and review work.
  • Collaborate with peers to manage project interdependencies.
  • Direct and coordinate project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
  • Engage business resources to understand business objectives and translate into delivery plans.
  • Understand how leveraged applications provide a competitive advantage.
  • Develop and gain agreement with stakeholders on project plans and budgets.
  • Uphold company mission and values, including accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Act with an inclusion mindset and model behaviors for the organization.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel between local Exact Sciences locations on request.
  • Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
