Talan Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Finance Professional for the FX Division. As a key member of the Market department within the Corporate and Investment division, you will play a critical role in managing the FX systems for STP and FX Portfolio and Risk Management.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for creating intelligent logic and integrating with other systems, such as Murex, Back Office, or Regulatory systems. Additionally, you will manage the implementation of new products or capabilities that the FX Business may need across different countries, with a focus on Murex integration and configurations.
Requirements- Essential:
- Substantial experience working with Murex, particularly with FX products (Cash and Volatility)
- Deep knowledge of FLEX libraries in Murex and PYMX architecture, with hands-on experience
- Murex Functional knowledge, including modules
- Strong business analysis skills, with experience in delivering high-quality technology solutions on time and budget
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with senior front-office users
- Previous experience in Front office, Middle/Back Office, or Risk Management areas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to gather requirements accurately and comprehensively
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and the Business Analyst role
- Experience in integrating products and events in Murex or other MO/BO systems
- Ability to analyze complex problems and present defensible conclusions and solutions
- Experience in delivering logical and comprehensive test strategies
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Services/Banking
- Expertise in SQL databases and Murex database architecture
- Murex technical knowledge, including services and other technical modules
- Linux/scripting skills
- Knowledge of parallel computing and evaluation/AWS
- Agile development/software life cycle
- Ability to code in Python
- Spanish language skills
- Permanent, full-time contract
