Job Summary:

Bayer is seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Expert with German language skills to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing assets, leading closing and reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with financial standards and policies.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading global company in the life sciences industry. As an Asset Management Expert, you will be responsible for:

Recording, verifying, and executing transactions according to process documentation

Leading monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing and reporting activities

Reconciling general ledger and subledger accounts

Cooperating with other departments, especially in the area of investments settlement

Controlling and analyzing financial statements for discrepancies and other issues

Coordinating and being a key contact person for internal and external audits

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

5 or more years' experience in general accounting

Very good knowledge of asset management, general accounting, and IFRS

Experience in SAP or other ERP system is beneficial

Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

English B2, German B2

Dedication and accuracy, strong organizational skills, ability to make decisions, and eager to learn

Motivation, communication, team work, and ability to operate in a highly intercultural environment
