About the Role

This is a hybrid role that can be performed in our offices in Krakow or Gdansk. As a Market Risk Expert, you will be responsible for analyzing clients' investment portfolio data and providing expertise to the team on risk techniques and valuation methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze clients' investment portfolio data to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Review financial instruments valuation and provide expertise to the team on risk techniques and valuation methods.
  • Assist the team with reconciliation of risk results and provide support to clients.
  • Analyze and review portfolio reports based on market regulations, such as Liquidity, Money Market Stress Testing, Basel III, AIFMD, UCITS, ESG and others.
  • Work closely with client service teams across several locations in US, EMEA, APAC.
  • Drive process automation and streamlining projects independently or by collaborating with dedicated development team.
  • Execute the department strategy as outlined by senior management.
  • Lead other project-based tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • FRM or CFA qualification an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and risk management techniques.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated, multi-task capable and willingness to learn and develop within role.
  • Bloomberg and/or Reuters knowledge.
  • Typically 4-6 years of experience in Financial Services.
  • Fluent English.
  • Proven work experience with SQL query and Advanced Excel.
  • Degree in Applied Mathematics/Finance/Economics or related field is preferred but not essential.
