Senior Software Engineer Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing medium-to-high complexity programs or scripts using the right standards and tools.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software applications using agile methodologies and latest technologies.
  • Select and apply appropriate design standards, methods, and tools to ensure efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technology.
  • Review and provide feedback on system designs to ensure they meet security and performance requirements.
  • Apply Composable Architecture principles to design scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with various database and integration technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify, locate, and fix faults.
  • Offer recommendations on best practices and tools for software development.
  • Maintain and enhance existing software components to meet business needs and performance targets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience as a software engineer.
  • Good experience with Composable Architecture principles, especially on an API-first strategy.
  • Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent experience with software version control using Git and collaboration via GitHub.
  • Strong knowledge of database and integration technologies, including AWS DynamoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS Glue.
  • Good experience with test-driven development using PyTest and API Test methodologies.
  • Good experience with building orchestration workflows using AWS Step Functions and Apache Airflow.
  • Good experience in developing streaming integration solutions, especially with focus on Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
