Job Description:

As an Independent Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, adhering to group standards and statutory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, taking into account group standards and statutory requirements.
  • Month-End Closing: Participate actively in the month-end closing process to ensure smooth operation.
  • Statutory Financial Statements: Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Balance Sheet Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of balance sheets, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data.
  • Audit Process: Take lead in the group and statutory audit process, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure the company complies with current accounting and tax regulations, including CIT, VAT, WHT, and TPR.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize accounting processes and implement internal projects to improve financial processes.
  • Collaboration: Partner with budget holders to review management accounts and forecast comparatives.
Requirements:

To succeed as an Independent Accountant, you will require:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of accounting experience on a similar position in an international organization, preferably as an Independent Accountant or Senior GL Accountant.
  • Education: Master's degree in accounting or economics.
  • Qualifications: Accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical skills, particularly in Excel.
  • ERP Experience: Familiarity with ERP accounting software, such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Time Management: Ability to set priorities and manage time efficiently.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated individual with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
