About the Role:
Tesla is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Manager to lead our growing EMEA Megapack sales team. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for customer engagement, sales, and contracting efforts for our cutting-edge Megapack battery energy storage systems and industry-leading services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead customer engagement, sales, and contracting efforts for Megapack battery energy storage systems
- Develop sales opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with Independent Power Producers (IPPs), developers, and utilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define scope, terms, and pricing for battery storage projects meeting customers' needs while protecting Tesla's interests
- Evaluate market dynamics and drivers to provide key market insights to the broader Tesla team
- Determine and execute the most effective go-to-market strategies
Requirements:
- 7+ years of sales/account management experience in the utility-scale electric generation, transmission, or storage industry
- Demonstrated expertise in structuring and leading complex negotiations in energy, construction, project finance, or a related field
- Ability to identify problems, lead projects, and provide pragmatic solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with colleagues and customers
- Flexibility to travel (up to 50%)
- Fluency in English and Polish. German language skills are considered a plus
