About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our team at emagine Polska. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our digital platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality PHP code in accordance with business and technology objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning meetings, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure code is thoroughly tested and reviewed to meet the highest standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and adapt quickly to changing environments.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with PHP7/8, PHP frameworks (e.g. Symfony, Laravel), and RESTful API development.
  • Proficiency in unit testing with mocks and dependency injection (e.g. PHPUnit).
  • Familiarity with SOLID principles, common design patterns, and database migration strategies.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.
  • Excellent mentoring and people management skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • CMS plugin and theme development (WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • API Platform framework.
  • MongoDB.
  • Debugging using tools like XDebug.
  • BDD / TDD / DDD.
