Data Scientist

As a key member of our dynamic team at Sii, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our highly successful Legal products. We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record in machine learning and a passion for deeper ML/AI knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the end-to-end model development lifecycle, ensuring best practices for reproducible research and well-managed software delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sharing information, valuing diverse ideas, and partnering effectively with global colleagues
• Translate complex business problems into projects with clearly defined scope, ensuring timely and well-managed deliverables in a fast-paced environment
• Foster innovative ideas to solve real-world challenges
• Communicate proactively, sharing work effectively, and describing ideas compellingly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Lead AI adoption across the enterprise

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information retrieval or text summarization, experience in NLP (Natural Language Processing)
• Strong proficiency in Python, including code review, unit testing, and working with a large codebase
• Experience with AWS
• Documented experience in machine learning/artificial intelligence, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders to define problems effectively
• Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset, designing and conducting experiments efficiently to answer empirical questions
• Fluent communication in English
