About You

We are seeking a skilled Senior Node.js Engineer to join our team at CloudFide. As a key member of our team, you will work on innovative projects that leverage your expertise in cloud computing, big data, and automation.

With at least 4 years of experience in programming with TypeScript and Express.js, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions. Your strong understanding of best coding practices, such as SOLID, DRY, KISS, and YAGNI, will ensure that our applications are maintainable, modular, and easy to understand.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent English communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About the Role

You will be working on a cutting-edge project for a Fortune 500 retail giant, which aims to create a powerful data aggregator that pulls information from various systems into one unified platform. The application's automation capabilities will streamline numerous business steps, enabling what would typically take several weeks to be completed within an hour.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a high-impact project that will significantly enhance user experience and simplify business decision-making.

Your Tech Toolbox
  • Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and NodeJS, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Practical knowledge of NPM, ExpressJS, and REST APIs, with a strong understanding of how to design and implement robust APIs.
  • Experience with Mongoose, MongoDB, Jest, and Swagger, with a focus on ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Comfortable with GIT and Agile/SCRUM methodologies, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and version control.
Extra Stardust
  • Experience with React and full-stack development, with a strong understanding of how to build scalable and efficient web applications.
  • Knowledge of TDD, with a focus on writing clean, testable code that meets the requirements of the project.
  • Familiarity with Microservices, oAuth 2.0, and JWT, with a strong understanding of how to design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Azure and Azure DevOps services, with a focus on leveraging these tools to improve collaboration, productivity, and quality.
