TN Poland is seeking a talented Geospatial Analytics Engineer to join its team of experts in analytics platform development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for extending and supporting our analytics platforms, growing data science and software development skills.

  • Work within the analytics platform development team to build new capability and contribute to product growth.
  • Support and resolve product issues and defects, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered on time.
  • Develop strong understanding of data science principles and their application to solving real-world problems.
  • Become proficient in software development skills, including Python and Java, to support platform and analytical methods.
  • Leverage knowledge of software development lifecycle from a product perspective to drive innovation.
  • Participate in and contribute to professional communities to stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrate experience working with geospatial data-related projects and have hands-on knowledge of tools like Iceberg, DataLake, Trino, Spark (Sedona), Ray, Flink.
  • Show interest in data science and machine learning concepts and have expertise in specific languages such as Java and Python.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrate ability to learn quickly, and possess attention to detail.
  • Showcase strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a distributed product team.
  • Demonstrate ownership of tasks and problems, driving them to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Show willingness to learn and contribute to software development, including backend or frontend development, and potentially both.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Hold experience of software development lifecycle and have exposure to ESRI SDK, Dask, Apache Pulsar.
