We are seeking an exceptional Technical Director to lead our Software Engineering team in developing and managing cloud infrastructure. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for technical leadership, project management, and people management.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based systems and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical direction and prioritize projects.
- Mentor and grow team members through regular feedback, coaching, and training opportunities.
- Establish and maintain high technical standards, ensuring code quality, reliability, and performance.
- Participate in engineering engagement with internal teams across sites and external partners, and influence and manage relationships with them.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization.
