As a Cybersecurity Consultant for Global Risk Management, you'll play a key role in driving the identification, capture, assessment, testing/verification, and remediation of security defects, gaps, and vulnerabilities across our global estate.

The Cybersecurity Assessment and Testing (CSAT) function is accountable for Vulnerability Management, Secure Development, Threat and Controls Assessment, and Third-Party Security Assessment. This role will drive the delivery of the cybersecurity strategy, collaborating with CSAT and Cybersecurity teams.

Your responsibilities will include supporting Control Officers, Risk Stewards, Internal and External Audit, and Regulators with relevant reviews, examinations, and information requests. You'll also develop as an SME and help inform wider embedding and training on the consultancy approach to peer TPSA analysts, building and developing the team.

This role requires acting as a pioneer to prove the developing approach, engaging with other Cyber teams, Third Party Management, and other risk teams to deliver Cyber risk support at a global level. You'll define and shape a developing approach for Cyber risk consultancy integrating into the end-to-end procurement process from supplier selection to completed onboarding and issue remediation on critical control gaps.

To succeed in this role, you'll need knowledge and exposure of Risk and Control Management frameworks and control design and execution, in theory and practice. You should be able to understand and articulate defects, threats, and technical gaps to both technical and business stakeholders.

You'll require a degree and/or similar experience, preferably in IT security in the Financial Services industry or global corporate service provider. Having one or more industry-recognised cybersecurity-related certifications, such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, and CCSP, etc., is desired.

A demonstrable technical understanding in Cloud Security (particularly for SaaS) and AI is preferred. Experience in third-party / supply chain governance is also required. Additionally, you'll need the ability to prepare concise updates, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders, as well as manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
