Responsibilities:
  • Leverage expertise in data architecture to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop tailored data solutions that drive business growth and decision-making.
  • Develop and enforce data engineering best practices, standards, and methodologies to maintain high-quality data products.
  • Analyze complex data landscapes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimizations to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define new data product use cases, analyze their value proposition, and develop effective strategies for implementation.
  • Take ownership of data product pipelines, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality data outputs.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge, and providing guidance to foster professional growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and industry developments, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improve existing processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Data Architect or equivalent role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality data solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of data engineering principles, architectures, and best practices.
  • Expertise in data transformation, including proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and dbt (desired).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD environments, particularly DataOps and GitLab.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex data models and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Possession of a good understanding of data input/output formats, APIs, extracts, user inputs, etc.
  • Familiarity with AWS (desired) and other cloud platforms.
