About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished SAP MRP-MM Consultant to join our client's team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of production planning and inventory management projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in business process surveys to understand client requirements.
  • Develop blueprints for production planning processes, focusing on PP/DS.
  • Collaborate with ABAP developers to create Functional Design Documents.
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA for production planning processes, emphasizing PP/DS setups and integrations.
  • Test developments and configurations to ensure functionality and alignment with requirements.
  • Conduct functional testing and provide support during the testing phase.
  • Develop user instructions and documentation for PP/DS processes.
  • Participate in end-to-end testing phases and provide support to related functional teams.
  • Assist in the go-live process and provide post-launch support.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of SAP experience, specializing in PP/DS and production planning, with practical experience in SAP AFS, FMS, or S/4HANA Fashion.
  • Led 2+ full-cycle PP/DS projects as a lead consultant in the manufacturing sector.
  • Recommended experience with MES/shop floor control system integration.
  • Strong understanding of Fiori platform's applications in PP/DS and solid knowledge of PP/DS functionality within S/4HANA.
  • Proficient in ABAP for enhancements, custom report development, and SAP HANA for performance optimization.
  • Cross-functional experience with SAP modules like PP and MRP.
  • Experience in managing the lifecycle of production orders, including creation, scheduling, releasing, confirming, closing orders, and performing capacity planning activities.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and suggest improvements within the scope of SAP PP/DS.
  • Analytical skills, project participation experience, user training, and support abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members, business owners, and end-users.
  • Quality and deadline-oriented.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English at a proficient level.
