Job Title: Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our team at ING. As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure architecture solutions for our global programs.

About the Role
  • Design and implement secure architecture solutions for global programs
  • Assess security design and operations of network security
  • Develop security norms and controls for the cloud
  • Lead and deliver architecture artefacts
  • Formulate and test hypotheses to determine appropriate security solutions
  • Design architecture on conceptual and logical levels
  • Maintain and update the Global Architecture/Security Standard
About the Team

ING Office of the CISO focuses on cybersecurity steering, threat & vulnerability management, and response. We translate key risks, business requirements, and applicable laws & legislations into architectures and accompanying enterprise-wide security programmes to achieve ING's strategic objectives.

The Security Architecture department ensures that IT strategy and cybersecurity implementations are aligned on an ongoing basis considering applicable technology solutions, good practices, risk appetite, and cost targets.

We deliver both conceptual designs as well as technical/physical designs in close consultation with DevOps engineers.
