We are seeking a skilled Threat Monitoring and Response Engineer to join our global Security team at Zendesk. As a Threat Monitoring and Response Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing processes and tools that enable us to quickly and effectively respond to identified threats to Zendesk and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in threat hunting exercises to identify areas requiring additional attention
  • Stay up-to-date on new threats and tactics, analyzing attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) from security events across a large network of devices and end-user systems
  • Manage technical cybersecurity investigations, triage, and containment
  • Contribute to the development and operation of automation and orchestration tools to reduce manual tasks
  • Partner with the security engineering team to mature monitoring and response capabilities
  • Take part in a compensated on-call rotation
  • Collaborate with our Intelligence team to share knowledge and best practices within the cybersecurity community
  • Help Zendesk teams and partners understand global cybersecurity events and mitigate threats as they relate to Zendesk
What You'll Bring:
  • A team-first, collaborative approach
  • 1+ years of experience in information security response and investigation
  • 1+ years of experience working in a global cloud-based environment
  • Experience briefing the business on current cybersecurity threats and events
  • Experience using log aggregation tools (SIEM, Datalake, etc.)
  • Experience using analytics tools (Wireshark, TCPDump, etc.)
  • Self-motivation to continuously learn and ability to work independently and effectively with multiple teams
Benefits:
  • Competitive annualized base salary range: zł164,000.00-zł246,000.00
