Job Title: Power BI Data Visualization Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Power BI Developer to join our team at Travcorp Poland Sp. Z O.O.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analytics, proficiency in SQL and DAX Query, an understanding of financial and operational business metrics, and excellent communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Visualization:
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, translating complex data from multiple sources into clear and actionable visualizations.
  • Work closely with the Data Engineering team to ensure data is in the structure and format most useful for reports.
  • Implement visualization best practices to enhance user engagement and comprehension.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of reports and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
User Access Management:
  • Manage user access to reports.
  • Take care of ongoing maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in Power BI development.
  2. DAX Query Language: Proficient in writing DAX formulas and M Queries for data manipulation and transformation.
  3. Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling pillars like facts, dimensions, relations, and modeling schemas.
  4. SQL Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SQL is required.
  5. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and generate insights.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
