Job Title: Senior Internal Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at PEPCO. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of independent, risk-based internal audits across the PEPCO Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of internal audits across the PEPCO Group, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement audit plans, ensuring that audits are risk-based and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct audits, gathering and analyzing data, and preparing reports that provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that internal controls are effective and efficient.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including auditors and consultants, to ensure that audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or a related field.
  • Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA) and/or auditing certification (e.g. CIA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
