About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Researcher to join our team at TRG Solutions. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing innovative solutions to support and enhance our Intelligence products.

Your primary focus will be on performing in-depth security research on software applications, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing proof-of-concept countermeasures. You will also analyze complex software systems to understand their weaknesses and develop strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will be expected to collaborate with external stakeholders, including certification bodies and industry partners, to stay up-to-date with the latest security standards and practices.

As a Senior Security Researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing security assessment tools and scripts to conducting research on new techniques and security mitigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth security research on software applications, identifying vulnerabilities and developing proof-of-concept countermeasures.
  • Analyze complex software systems to understand how they work, where they have weaknesses, and how vulnerabilities can be mitigated.
  • Conduct research on new techniques, security mitigations, and identifying vulnerabilities in communication systems.
  • Supervise the development of security research and evaluation plans and schedule security testing activities.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including certification bodies and industry partners, to stay abreast of the latest security standards and practices.
  • Utilize advanced tools and techniques such as symbolic execution, automated vulnerability scanning, and binary analysis.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Mentor and coach junior researchers and colleagues in your area of expertise.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide security guidance.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative security solutions to fight crime and terror.
Requirements
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, or a related field, or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Combined 5+ years of experience in software security research and security assessment.
  • Experience in people management and security project management.
