Job Description

We are seeking an IT Security Specialist to join our team at HSBC Service Delivery (Polska) Sp. z o.o. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of automated Operational and Business-related reporting.

The role forms part of the 1LoD in relation to the risk management framework, supporting the delivery of Control Owner activities and Governance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing detailed and accurate reporting of Vulnerability data to drive and prioritize risk-based remediation across the bank.
  • Continually improving reporting capabilities against the Vulnerability Management control to support improvements in the bank's security posture.
  • Triage and assessment of new Vulnerability reporting requirements, ensuring clear understanding, linkage to strategic deliverables, and timely planning.
  • Maintaining and monitoring all feeds into the Vulnerability reporting platform, reporting on impacts and ensuring relevant remediation activities are tracked.
  • Contributing to responses to information requests from Regulators, Internal/External Audit, and 2LOD challenges/Papers.
  • Providing commentary to routine governance submissions, such as Cybersecurity Executive Committee Monthly Update, Risk Map, KCIs, KRIs.
  • Performing ad-hoc tasks as required, including support to CSAT operational activities.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in defining critical data elements for Vulnerability Management, utilizing big data systems, scanning technologies, and scripting or programming languages.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills, with ability to work accurately and methodically under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective working relationships and work well as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of delivering activities on time to a high standard.
  • Excellent understanding of Databricks, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Confluence.
  • At least 3 years of experience in working as a threat & vulnerability management expert and developing programs or in IT Security.
