Customer Service Master Data Senior Specialist

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to manage material, customer, and pricing master data in SAP ERP, ensuring timely, top-quality, efficient, and customer-oriented service to one to three Business Units in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and control material, customer, and pricing master data in SAP ERP, adhering to established procedures and key performance metrics.
  • Prepare data reports and analyses using SAP ERP, MS Excel, and other internal tools, and share them with local BUs and the CDO Leadership.
  • Perform root-cause analysis of data quality defects and propose and implement actions to correct the data and prevent defect recurrence.
  • Challenge existing work processes and propose improvements, with Team Leader support as needed.
  • Contribute to regular connects with the team and local BU, providing requested information, sharing ideas, and proactively reporting MD-related business risks.
  • Create, review, and update internal documentation containing standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Obtain, store, and deliver information for audit purposes.
  • Train less experienced team members and local BU requestors on master data processes.
  • Support CDO Project Management in delivering business projects by sharing detailed information on master data processes.

Requirements

  • Min. 1 year of working experience in data management, supply chain, finance, customer service, or IT.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP ERP or other data management systems.
  • Ability to conduct data analyses with attention to detail and present conclusions in a logical, informative way.
  • Ownership, autonomy, and accountability for results within the given scope.
  • Growth mindset, with focus on solutions, improvements, and constant learning.
  • Priority-setting skills and efficient work organization in a dynamic business environment.
  • Resilience to frequent changes in the supply chain.
  • Ability to think and understand quickly, and adjust plans and actions to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team towards a common objective.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Good practical knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
