Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Operations Engineer to join our team in Poland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payment transaction systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, and implementing process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure seamless execution of payment transactions through effective system monitoring and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely resolution of problems.
  • Implement process improvements to optimize system performance and reduce errors.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and application servers (Tomcat).
  • Familiarity with scheduling systems (UC4) and file transfer protocols (Connect:Direct, Sterling File Gateway).
  • Knowledge of databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server) and authentication services (Kerberos, Active Directory, LDAP).

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
