Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant with French

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant with French language proficiency to join our client's team in Warsaw. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, including experience with general ledger processes, account reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reviews.
  • Prepare financial statements and statistical reports for local requirements.
  • Manage intercompany activities and ensure all close activities are complete and books are closed per the established close calendar.
  • Support internal and external audits, preparing data and answering questions as needed.
  • Complete ad-hoc projects and reports, researching management questions and resolving issues.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably with a master's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent knowledge of English and French (minimum B2 level).
  • Experience in general accounting or reporting areas, with knowledge of SAP being an asset.
  • Ongoing ACCA, CMA, or related qualifications preferred.
  • Good understanding of MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
