Accounting Operations

The head of financial operations will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and contributing to the development of our overall accounting strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Close collaboration with the CFO and management on finance department setup
  • Decision-making on scheduling timelines for changes within the accounting department
  • Financial accounting for a group of legal entities across various countries (AR, AP, GL)
  • Collaboration with local and foreign accounting offices
  • Tax and statutory reporting (VAT, CIT, withholding tax, GUS, NBP reporting)
  • Accounting policy and chart of accounts development, as well as procedures on local and group levels
  • Preparation of periodic financial statements, analyses, and reports, including consolidation of Financial Statements at the group level
  • Leading statutory audits and tax controls on local and group levels
  • Providing accurate financial information and data for reporting, forecasting, and controlling purposes
  • Liaising with stakeholders and resolving accounting issues with impacted business
Requirements
  • Polish at C1 level required
  • At least five years of experience in accounting, preferably two years in a Chief Accountant role (marketing/advertising industry an asset)
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and international accounting standards
  • Management and organizational skills in building and controlling external accounting offices
  • Good knowledge of accounting consolidation of FS
  • English at C1 level
  • Strong MS Office skills and capabilities in MS Excel
  • Proactive approach, accuracy, strong organizational skills, strategic thinking abilities
  • Good communication and teamwork, efficiency, innovation
  • Experience with multinational companies and accountancy regulations welcomed
  • ACCA or other financial/accounting certificate an asset
