We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science and Visualization Expert to join our team at Mettler Toledo. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in data visualization and analytical tools to drive business success.

About the Role

This position requires a strong focus on defining and establishing the technical foundation for successful data visualization and data science projects. As a Data Science and Visualization Expert, you will act as an in-house consultant, providing best practices, education, and coaching to various levels of organizations on data visualization topics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of advanced analytical platforms and promoting their possibilities and capabilities
  • Creating proof-of-concepts for selected visualization and analytical cockpits
  • Providing support to the organization regarding data visualization and analytical tools and processes
  • Defining and co-creating data visualization processes, environments, and rules to enable a successful data visualization journey
  • Acting as an ambassador for IBCS (International Business Communication Standards) in the area of data visualization, promoting its values and principles

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with BI data visualization and analytical tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Proficiency in English written and spoken
  • Experience with ETL tools such as KNIME or Alteryx
  • Experience with SQL and database design
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Very good communication and presentation skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ERP class systems
  • Knowledge of SAP systems such as ECC and CRM
  • Knowledge of common data mining algorithms and their respective applications
  • Programming skills in R, Python, and/or MATLAB
  • JavaScript knowledge

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Benefits include annual bonuses, festive benefits, flexible working hours, hybrid work model, medicover medical care, and more.
