Job Title: Eurosport Broadcast Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Eurosport Broadcast Engineer to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our broadcast operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Eurosport MCR/PCR, feed delivery, and sound control for Eurosport broadcast operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for PCR, MFR, SCR users, commentary booths, and audio mix ESP 1 and 2
  • Perform technical sound engineering for ESP 1 and 2
  • Design and implement technical solutions
  • Test hardware and software
  • Ensure system updates and configuration changes are implemented on schedule
  • Assure uninterrupted production flow
  • Configure BNCS system for current production purposes
  • Operate Vmix software for video streaming
  • Manage and configure EVERTZ receivers
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and repairs of hardware and network
  • Provide technical support for LiveTouch operation
  • Conserve, configure, record, and service KULA video mixers
  • Support Lawo Ruby and Lawo 56m2 audio mixers
  • Develop knowledge and skills relevant to the job
  • Be prepared to take on new tasks based on current business requirements
  • Collaborate with other Eurosport and Discovery teams and areas
Requirements:
  • Excellent command of English language and local language communication skills
  • Broadcast technology knowledge
  • SNG and multicast technology knowledge
  • IP2110 technology knowledge
  • Comprehensive technical awareness and ability to converse effectively with technologists and engineers
  • Experience and in-depth understanding of broadcasting multiplatform TV services and associated operational processes and workflows
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to react well under pressure and think and act quickly on the spot
  • Application of Corporate Social Responsibility and compliance with the Discovery Code of Ethics
