About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to lead our team in driving innovation on the Azure platform. This is an exceptional opportunity to join HSBC Service Delivery and contribute to shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Cloud Architects to evolve the Cloud Strategy, defining and executing delivery on the Azure Platform.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical and business processes, including evaluation and implementation of tooling and automation, standardizing platform onboarding experiences, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and resilience.
  • Work closely with Cloud Security Architects and Data Architects to inform their respective Cloud Strategies and provide subject matter expertise.
  • Engage with Product Managers to ensure HSBC's requirements are incorporated into product roadmaps and support timely adoption of new technologies.
  • Provide escalation assistance to Cloud Platform teams and understand regulatory controls for Financial Institutions, providing support for regulatory engagements.
  • Evanolise the Cloud Strategy across HSBC, promoting best practices and standards.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require extensive knowledge of Azure Cloud, experience with IaaS, PaaS, governance, compliance services, security services, and Identity and Access Management (IAM). A track record of delivering significant change that improves business effectiveness sustainably is also essential.
